Courtesy Lamp: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Using a small-bladed tool, release the lower tab from the rear quarter courtesy lamp bezel.
2. Remove the rear quarter courtesy lamp bezel in order to gain access to the bulb.
3. Remove the bulb for replacement.
4. Remove the rear quarter courtesy lamp bezel by pulling the wiring harness out from behind the headliner enough to disconnect the electrical connector.




5. Partially lower the headliner in order to gain access to the rear quarter courtesy lamp body.
6. Careful pry the rear quarter courtesy lamp body away from the roof rail pocket with a flat-bladed tool.
7. Release the 2 retainer clips.
8. Pull the rear quarter courtesy lamp body out far enough in order to disconnect the electrical connector.
9. Remove the rear quarter courtesy lamp body.




INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Connect the electrical connector.
2. Install the rear quarter courtesy lamp body into the roof rail pocket.
3. Push in to engage the 2 retainers.
4. Install headliner.
5. Connect the rear quarter courtesy lamp switch electrical connector.
6. Install the rear quarter courtesy lamp bezel.
7. Install the bottom tab of the rear quarter courtesy lamp bezel first.
8. Engage the top of the rear quarter courtesy lamp bezel.
