Revised Transmission Replacement Procedure

Models:
2000-2001 Cadillac DeVille, Seville
2001 Oldsmobile Aurora

This bulletin is being issued to revise the Transmission Replacement procedure in the Automatic Transaxle - 4T80-E sub-section of the Service Manual. Please replace the current information in the Service Manual with the following information.

The following information has been updated within SI2000. If you are using a paper version of the Service Manual, please make a reference to this bulletin on the affected page.

This revised procedure now requires the use of the J 41160, Transmission Jack Adapter. The use of this tool has reduced the time allowed for labor operation number K7000 from 8.5 hours to 5.7 hours. In the future, the labor time guide will be updated with this new information.
