SUBJECT:
Loose Front and/or Rear Side Door Lower Molding (Replace Retaining Clip)

MODELS:
1999-2000 Cadillac Seville

CONDITION
Some customers may comment that the front and/or rear side door lower molding assembly is loose or has fallen off and does not stay on the vehicle.

CAUSE
This condition may be due to the retaining clips on the side door lower molding assembly not having sufficient retention strength.

CORRECTION
A new retaining clip for the side door lower molding assembly is now available.

Replace the existing retaining clip with the new retaining clip, P/N 25718851.

Refer to the Exterior Trim sub-section in the Service Manual for molding replacement procedures.
