Valve Body: Service and Repair

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the bottom pan and seal, the scavenger screens, and the lip seals.
2. Remove the lower valve assembly.

Installation Procedure

1. Install the Lower Valve Assembly.
2. Install the bottom pan and seal, the scavenger screens, and the lip seals.
3. Add DEXRON (R) III transmission fluid as required.
4. If there was a complete fluid change, reset the transmission oil life indicator.
