Frame Extension Replacement - Rear

Removal Procedure

1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle (Service and Repair) in General Information.
2. Remove the rear fascia. Refer to Rear Bumper Fascia Replacement (Service and Repair) in Bumpers.




3. Remove the bolts from the rear frame support.
4. Remove the rear frame support.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the rear frame support.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

2. Install the bolts to the rear frame support.

Tighten the rear frame bolts to 10 Nm (89 lb in).

3. Install the rear fascia. Refer to Rear Bumper Fascia Replacement (Service and Repair) in Bumpers.
4. Lower the vehicle.
