Not all of the tools listed are required for this specific application. If a special tool is required, the J number will be called out in the diagnostic procedure. The abilities and limitations of a tool must be known before the tool is used. This knowledge should include the scan tool operation, the proper use of test lamps, the jumper wires, and the DMM.
