Spark Plug Replacement

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the coil pack. Refer to Ignition Coil(s) Replacement - Bank 1 and Ignition Coil(s) Replacement - Bank 2.
2. Clean the spark plug recess area with low pressure air.
3. Remove the spark plugs from the cylinder head.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Gap the spark plugs.

Specification
Spark plug gap: 0.9-1.1 mm (0.035-0.043 in).

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the spark plugs to the cylinder head.

Tighten
Tighten the spark plugs to 25 N.m (19 lb ft).

3. Install the coil pack. Refer to Ignition Coil(s) Replacement - Bank 1 and Ignition Coil(s) Replacement - Bank 2.
