Brace Replacement - Radiator Support Diagonal

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the radiator support sight shield. Refer to Radiator Support Sight Shield Replacement (Radiator Support Sight Shield Replacement) .




2. Remove the hood latch support bracket (4). Refer to Hood Latch Support Replacement (Hood Latch Support Replacement) .




3. Remove the nuts (3) that retain the diagonal braces (2) to the radiator support (1).
4. Remove the diagonal braces (2) from the vehicle.



Installation Procedure





1. Install the diagonal braces (2) to the vehicle.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

2. Install the nuts (3) that retain the diagonal braces (2) to the radiator support (1).

Tighten the nuts to 11 N.m (97 lb in).





3. Install the hood latch support bracket (4). Refer to Hood Latch Support Replacement (Hood Latch Support Replacement) .
4. Install the radiator support sight shield. Refer to Radiator Support Sight Shield Replacement (Radiator Support Sight Shield Replacement) .
