Console Replacement (Base Console)

Removal Procedure

1. Open the center console door.




2. Remove the 4 bolts attaching the center console to the console bracket.
3. Remove by lifting the center console from the bracket.

Installation Procedure

1. The new console is attached to a bracket.
Separate the center console from the bracket by removing the retaining bolts.
2. Position the new center console on the bracket in the vehicle.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.




3. Install the 4 retaining bolts to the bracket.

Tighten the bolts to 3.5 N.m (31 lb in).

4. Close the center console door.
