Rear Body Mount Replacement

Removal Procedure
1. Raise and support vehicle. Refer to Vehicle Lifting.





2. Using a block of wood and a suitable jack, support the exhaust and the rear support.





3. Remove the exhaust hangers.
4. Remove the rear support mounting bolts.
5. Lower the rear of the rear support and the exhaust system together.





6. Remove the rear body mount retaining bolts.
7. Remove the rear body mount.

Installation Procedure





1. Install the rear body mount.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the rear body mount retaining bolts.
Tighten the rear body mount retaining bolts to 51 Nm (38 ft. lbs.).





3. Raise the rear support and exhaust system.
4. Install the rear support mounting bolts.
Tighten the rear support mounting bolts to 191 Nm (141 ft. lbs.).





5. Install the exhaust hangers.
6. Lower the vehicle.
