Yaw Rate Sensor Replacement

Removal Procedure
1. Turn OFF the ignition.
2. Remove the rear shelf trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Rear Window Shelf in Interior Trim.
3. Disconnect the yaw rate sensor electrical connector.
4. Remove the 2 yaw rate sensor mounting nuts.
5. Remove the yaw rate sensor.

Installation Procedure
1. Install the yaw rate sensor.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

2. Install the 2 yaw rate sensor nuts.
Tighten
Tighten the yaw rate sensor mounting nuts to 6 N.m(53 lb in).
3. Connect the yaw rate sensor electrical connector.
4. Install the rear shelf trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Rear Window Shelf in Interior Trim.
5. Perform the ABS Diagnostic System Check. Refer to Diagnostic System Check - ABS. Diagnostic System Check
