Intake Plenum Switchover Solenoid Replacement

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Disconnect the following from the intake plenum switchover solenoid (2):
- The electrical connector (1)
- The vacuum hoses




2. Remove the intake plenum switchover solenoid bolts.
3. Remove the intake plenum switchover solenoid from the intake plenum.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Position the intake plenum switchover solenoid to the intake plenum.
2. Install the intake plenum switchover solenoid bolts.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

Tighten
Tighten the intake plenum switchover solenoid bolts to 8 N.m (71 lb in).




3. Connect the following to the intake plenum switchover solenoid (2):
- The electrical connector (1)
- The vacuum hoses.
