Intake Plenum Switchover Valve Replacement

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the intake plenum.




2. Disconnect the vacuum hose from the intake plenum switchover valve.
3. Remove the intake plenum switchover valve bolts.
4. Remove the intake plenum switchover valve and O-ring seal from the intake plenum.
Discard the O-ring seal.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the intake plenum switchover valve with O-ring seal into the intake plenum.

IMPORTANT: Ensure the O-ring Discard the O-ring seal is properly positioned to the switchover valve.

2. Install the intake plenum switchover valve bolts.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

Tighten
Tighten the intake plenum switchover valve bolts to 8 N.m (71 lb in).

3. Connect the vacuum hose to the intake plenum switchover valve.
4. Install the intake plenum.
