Cabin Temperature Sensor / Switch: Service and Repair

INSIDE AIR TEMPERATURE SENSOR ASSEMBLY REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the left closeout insulator Panel.
2. Remove the left knee bolster bracket.




3. Disconnect the inside air temperature sensor assembly (1) electrical connector.
4. Remove the screws (2) from the inside air temperature sensor assembly.




5. Remove the inside air temperature sensor (1) from the vehicle.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the inside air temperature sensor (1) to the IP.




2. Install the inside air temperature sensor assembly (1) screw (2).

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

3. Tighten the screw (2).

Tighten
Tighten the screw to 1.4 N.m (12 lb in).

4. Connect the inside air temperature sensor assembly (1) electrical connector.
5. Install the left knee bolster bracket.
6. Install the left closeout insulator panel.
