Rain Sensor: Service and Repair

WINDSHIELD OUTSIDE MOISTURE SENSOR REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Gently pry the trim cover outward in order to remove the cover from the rain sensor module.




2. Remove the trim cover from the rain sensor module.




3. Release the windshield coupler retaining clips.
4. Remove the rain sensor module.
5. Disconnect the electrical connector from the rain sensor module.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Connect the electrical connector to the rain sensor module.
2. Install the rain sensor module in the windshield coupler.
3. Fasten the windshield coupler retainer clips.




4. Install the trim cover on the rain sensor module.
5. Push inward in order to secure the cover to the rain sensor module.
6. The cover will snap into position.
