REAR OBJECT ALARM DETECTION MODULE REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Lift the passenger second row seat cushion to gain access to the rear object detection module (2).
2. Disconnect the electrical connector (1) from the module (2).
3. Remove the fasteners (3).
4. Remove the module (2).

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the module (2).
2. Install the module fasteners (3).

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

Tighten the module fastener (3) to 1.7 N.m (15 lb in).

3. Connect the electrical connector (1).
4. Lower the rear seat cushion.
