Valet Switch: Service and Repair



REAR COMPARTMENT LID VALET LOCK OUT SWITCH REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the instrument panel (I/P) storage compartment.

CAUTION: Refer to SIR Caution in Service Precautions.




2. Squeeze the tabs on each side of the valet switch (1) in order to release the valet switch from the opening in the I/P storage compartment.Push the valet switch out of the storage compartment opening.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the valet switch (1) in the opening on the I/P storage compartment.
2. Push the valet switch (1) firmly in place in order to secure the retaining tabs.
3. Install the I/P storage compartment.
