Oil Pump Replacement

Removal Procedure





Important: Do not remove the left bank idler sprocket.

1. Remove the primary timing chain.
2. Remove the crankshaft sprocket.
3. Remove the oil pump bolts and the oil pump.
4. Perform the following steps as necessary:

* Disassemble the oil pump.
* Clean and inspect the oil pump.

Installation Procedure

1. Assemble the oil pump as necessary.




2. Install the oil pump.
3. Install the crankshaft sprocket.
4. Install the primary timing chain.
