^ J22912-01Split-Plate Bearing Puller
^ J34826 Hub Nut Socket - 36 mm
^ J45006 Pinion Press Pilot
^ J45012 Pinion Flange Holder
^ J45019 Flange and Pinion Cage Remover





1. Remove the pinion flange nut (1) using J34826 while holding the flange with the J45012 and a breaker bar.





2. Remove the pinion flange from the shaft. If the flange will not pull off, use the J45019 with forcing screw, bolts and spacers.





3. Place the pinion cage into a press.
4. Remove the pinion shaft and bearing from the cage using the J45006 and a hydraulic press.





5. Remove the spacer from the pinion shaft.





6. Install the J22912-01 (2) onto the pinion shaft, under the inner-bearing race.
7. Place the pinion shaft in a press to remove the bearing from the shaft.
8. Install the J45006 (1) and press the bearing from the pinion shaft.





9. Remove the pinion oil seal (1) and the pinion bearing (2) from the bearing cage (3).
