Knock Sensor Replacement - Bank 1



KNOCK SENSOR REPLACEMENT (BANK 1)

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Raise the vehicle. Refer to Vehicle Lifting.

CAUTION: Refer to Vehicle Lifting Caution.

2. Disconnect the knock sensor electrical connector (3).
3. Remove the knock sensor mounting bolt (1).
4. Remove the knock sensor (2).

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Position the knock sensor (2) to the engine block.
2. Install the knock sensor mounting bolt (1).

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice.

Tighten the knock sensor mounting bolt to 20 N.m (15 lb ft).

3. Connect the knock sensor electrical connector (3).
4. Lower the vehicle.
