Sunroof Motor/Actuator Synchronization

SUNROOF MOTOR/ACTUATOR SYNCHRONIZATION

IMPORTANT: The power sunroof motor/actuator is timed at the factory. If there is battery voltage applied to a new sunroof motor/actuator, the pre-timed settings within the sunroof motor/actuator are lost and cannot be reset to accommodate proper installation.

There should be no battery voltage applied to a new power sunroof motor/actuator until the following conditions are satisfied:
1. The power sunroof window is in a full closed position. Refer to Sunroof Track Timing/Synchronization.
2. The power sunroof motor/actuator is installed to the sunroof module assembly.

Install the power sunroof motor/actuator.
