Sensor Replacement - Seat Adjuster Motor - Vertical

Removal Procedure

Caution: Refer to SIR Caution in Service Precautions.

1. Disable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling.
2. Remove the seat.




3. Disconnect the electrical connector from the seat adjuster motor sensor (3).
4. Release the tabs and remove the sensor.

Installation Procedure

1. Install the seat adjuster motor sensor to the motor.




2. Connect the electrical connector to the sensor (3).
3. Install the seat.
4. Enable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling for driver's seat.
5. Calibrate the seat. Refer to Memory Seat Calibration. Programming and Relearning
