Radiator Outlet Hose Replacement (LP1, LY7)

Tools Required

J 38185 Hose Clamp Pliers

Removal Procedure




1. Drain the cooling system. Refer to Draining and Filling Cooling System (GE 47716) Draining and Filling Cooling System (LP1, LY7 Static Fill) Draining and Filling Cooling System (LS2 Static Fill).
2. Position J 38185 to the clamp in order to remove the radiator outlet hose (1) from the cooling pipe.




3. Remove the hose from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

1. Position the radiator output hose into the vehicle.




2. Position J 38185 to the clamp in order to connect the hose to the radiator.




3. Position J 38185 to the clamp in order to connect the hose (1) to the cooling pipe.
4. Install the air deflector.
5. Fill the cooling system. Refer to Draining and Filling Cooling System (GE 47716) Draining and Filling Cooling System (LP1, LY7 Static Fill) Draining and Filling Cooling System (LS2 Static Fill).
