Front Side Door Window Regulator Motor Replacement

Removal Procedure





Important: There is a binding effect on the power window motor drive when the window is in the fully closed or open position.

1. Partially open the window, if possible.
2. Remove the door trim panel.
3. Remove the water deflector.
4. Remove the screws (1) securing the power window motor to the window regulator.
5. Remove the power window motor.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the power window motor to the window regulator.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice.

2. Install the power window motor to regulator screws (1).

Tighten the window motor screws to 4 N.m (62 lb in).

3. Install the water deflector.
4. Install the door trim panel.
