Upper Intake Manifold Sight Shield Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the cross vehicle brace.
2. Lift the sight shield straight up from the engine.
3. Disengage the sight shield retaining features from the fuel rail.
4. Remove the sight shield from the engine compartment.

Installation Procedure




1. Align the sight shield retaining features to the fuel injector rails.
2. Push the sight shield down ensuring that the retaining features engage with the fuel rail.
3. Install the cross vehicle brace.
