Power Steering Cooler Pipe/Hose Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the front air deflector.
2. Place drain pans under the vehicle as needed.




3. Disconnect the power steering cooler pipe/hose from the power steering lines.




4. Remove the power steering cooler pipe/hose to frame retaining bolt.
5. Remove the radiator upper grille.




6. Disconnect the power steering cooler pipe/hose from the power steering cooler.
7. Remove the power steering cooler pipe/hose from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

1. Position the power steering cooler pipe/hose to the vehicle.




2. Connect the power steering cooler pipe/hose to the power steering cooler.
3. Clean any excess fluid from the power steering cooler area.
4. Install the radiator upper grille.





Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice.

5. Install the power steering cooler pipe/hose to frame retaining bolt.

Tighten the bolts to 10 N.m (88 lb in).




6. Connect the power steering cooler pipe/hose to the power steering lines.
7. Clean any excess fluid from the underbody and remove any drain pans.
8. Install the front air deflector.
9. Bleed the power steering system.
