Windshield Side Reveal Molding Replacement



WINDSHIELD SIDE REVEAL MOLDING REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Open the door.

2. IMPORTANT: Do Not remove the windshield weatherstrip passed the upper corner of the windshield pillar to service the windshield weatherstrip side retainer.

Remove the windshield weatherstrip from the weatherstrip side retainer.

3. Remove the windshield side reveal molding screws (1).
4. Remove the windshield side reveal molding (6) from the windshield pillar.
5. Clean the surface of the windshield weatherstrip side retainer of any old sealant material.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Replace the foam sealing tape if damaged.
2. Position the windshield side reveal molding (6) to the windshield pillar.

3. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice.

Install the windshield side reveal molding (6) screws (1) to pillar.

Tighten the screws to 8.0 N.m (71 lb in).

4. Install the windshield weatherstrip into the side retainer.
5. Inspect the door window for proper sealing.
6. Close the door.
