Transmission Support Replacement (Automatic Transmission AWD)


Removal Procedure

1.Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .

2.Remove the exhaust system. Refer to Exhaust System Replacement .

3.Support the transmission with a suitable jack and a block of wood.

4.Remove the transmission support to body mounting bolts.





5.Remove the transmission to support mounting bolts.

6.Remove the transmission mount from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

1.Install the transmission mount to the vehicle.





Notice:Refer to Fastener Notice .

Important:The transmission mount bolts must be tightened in the proper order.

2.Tighten the right side transmission mount assembly bolt.

TightenTighten the bolts to 110 N �m (81 lb ft).

3.Tighten the left side transmission mount assembly bolt.

TightenTighten the bolts to 110 N �m (81 lb ft).

4.Install the transmission mount to body mounting bolts.

TightenTighten the bolts to 60 N �m (44 lb ft).

5.Remove the transmission support.

6.Install the exhaust system.

7.Lower the vehicle.
