Blower Motor: Service and Repair



Blower Motor Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the instrument panel (I/P) - right side. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Replacement - Right Side (Service and Repair) .
2. Remove the I/P compartment. Refer to Instrument Panel Compartment Replacement (Service and Repair) .




3. Disconnect the blower motor electrical connector.




4. Remove the screws (1) that retain the blower motor.




5. Remove the blower motor.



Installation Procedure





1. Install the blower motor.





Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice (Fastener Notice) .

2. Install the blower motor screws (1).

Tighten the screws to 1.5 N.m (13 lb in).





3. Connect the blower motor electrical connector.
4. Install the I/P compartment. Refer to Instrument Panel Compartment Replacement (Service and Repair) .
5. Install the I/P insulator - right side. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Replacement - Right Side (Service and Repair) .
