Battery Tray: Service and Repair



Battery Tray Replacement

Removal Procedure





1. Remove the battery from the vehicle. Refer to Battery Replacement (Side Post) (Battery Replacement (Side Post)) .




2. Remove the bolts from the battery tray.
3. Remove the battery tray from the vehicle.



Installation Procedure





1. Install the battery tray into the vehicle.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice (Fastener Notice) .

2. Install the battery tray bolts.

Tighten the battery tray bolts to 6 N.m (53 lb in).





3. Install the battery into the vehicle. Refer to Battery Replacement (Side Post) (Battery Replacement (Side Post)) .
