Info - Automatic Transmission Shifter Control Base, Shifter Knob and Shifter Boot Available for Service
Models:
2008 Cadillac CTS
with 6L50 Automatic Transmission (RPOs MX0, MX7, MYB)
The shifter control base, shifter knob and shifter boot are now available separately for service. These components were previously available only as part of the complete shifter control assembly.
DO NOT replace the complete shifter control assembly if the shifter control base, shifter knob or shifter boot requires replacement.

Choose the appropriate labor operation based on the part being replaced. DO NOT use Labor Operation K5225 (Control Assembly, Floor Shift - Replace).
