Seat Vertical Adjuster Position Sensor Replacement

Removal Procedure

Caution: Refer to SIR Caution (SIR Caution) .
1. Disable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling (Service and Repair) .
2. Remove the seat. Refer to Bucket Seat Replacement (Bucket Seat Replacement) .




3. Disconnect the electrical connector from the seat adjuster motor sensor (3).
4. Release the tabs and remove the sensor.



Installation Procedure

1. Install the seat adjuster motor sensor to the motor.




2. Connect the electrical connector to the sensor (3).
3. Install the seat. Refer to Bucket Seat Replacement (Bucket Seat Replacement) .
4. Enable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling (Service and Repair) .
5. Calibrate the seat. Refer to Memory Seat Calibration (Programming and Relearning) .
