Driveability Concerns - Rough Idle, Hesitation After Cold Start (Reprogram ECM)

Models:
2008 Cadillac CTS, SRX

Equipped with 3.6L Engine (VIN Code 7 - RPO LY7)

Condition

Some customers may comment on a rough idle, hesitation or other driveability concerns after a cold start.

Cause

Engineering has identified a concern with the ECM software.

Correction

A revised calibration has been developed to correct this condition. Technicians are to reprogram the engine control module (ECM) using SPS with the latest software available on TIS2WEB. Refer to the Service Programming System (SPS) procedures in SI. As always make sure your Tech 2(R) is updated with the latest software version.
