Sun Load Sensor Replacement

Removal Procedure


Important: Complete removal of the I/P trim pad is not necessary. Gently lift the I/P trim pad until sufficient access to the sensor and electrical connect or is acquired.


1. Partially remove the I/P trim pad. Refer to Instrument Panel Trim Pad Replacement (Service and Repair) .




2. Gently lift the I/P trim pad to access the sun load sensor.




3. Rotate the sunload sensor to release from the I/P trim pad.
4. Disconnect the sunload sensor electrical connector.
5. Remove the sun load sensor from the vehicle.



Installation Procedure





1. Install the sun load sensor to the vehicle.
2. Connect the sun load sensor electrical connector.
3. Rotate to secure the sun load sensor to the I/P trim pad.
4. Install the I/P trim pad. Refer to Instrument Panel Trim Pad Replacement (Service and Repair) .
