Transmission Fluid Cooler Hose/Pipe Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the air cleaner assembly. Refer to Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement (Service and Repair)
2. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle (Service and Repair)
3. Remove the front air deflector. Refer to Front Air Deflector Replacement (Front Air Deflector Replacement)
4. Remove the front compartment lower noise shield. Refer to Front Compartment Lower Noise Shield Replacement (All Wheel Drive) (Front Compartment Lower Noise Shield Replacement)Front Compartment Lower Noise Shield Replacement (Rear Wheel Drive) (Front Compartment Lower Noise Shield Replacement)




5. Disconnect the transmission cooler lines. Refer to Transmission Fluid Cooler Hose/Pipe Quick-Connect Fitting Disconnection and Connection (Service and Repair)




6. Remove the transmission cooler line bolts.




7. Remove the transmission cooler lines bolt.
8. Remove the transmission cooler lines from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the transmission cooler lines to the vehicle.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).

2. Install the transmission cooler lines bolt and tighten to 50 Nm (37 lb ft).




3. Install the the transmission cooler line bolts.




4. Connect the transmission cooler lines. Refer to Transmission Fluid Cooler Hose/Pipe Quick-Connect Fitting Disconnection and Connection (Service and Repair)
5. Install the front compartment lower noise shield. Refer to Front Compartment Lower Noise Shield Replacement (All Wheel Drive) (Front Compartment Lower Noise Shield Replacement)Front Compartment Lower Noise Shield Replacement (Rear Wheel Drive) (Front Compartment Lower Noise Shield Replacement)
6. Install the front air deflector. Refer to Front Air Deflector Replacement (Front Air Deflector Replacement)
7. Lower the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle (Service and Repair)
8. Install the air cleaner assembly. Refer to Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement (Service and Repair)
