Final Drive Internal Gear Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Raise the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle (Service and Repair).
2. Remove the final drive carrier. Refer to Final Drive Assembly Replacement (Final Drive Assembly Replacement).




3. Remove the final drive internal gear snap ring (135).
4. Remove the final drive internal gear (120).

Installation Procedure




1. Install the final drive internal gear (120).
2. Install the final drive internal gear snap ring (135).
3. Install the final drive carrier. Refer to Final Drive Assembly Replacement (Final Drive Assembly Replacement).
