Blower Motor Replacement (Left Hand Drive)

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the right closeout insulator panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Right Side (Right Hand Drive) (Service and Repair)Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Right Side (Left Hand Drive) (Service and Repair).
2. Remove the instrument panel (I/P) compartment. Refer to Instrument Panel Compartment Replacement (Left Hand Drive) (Service and Repair)Instrument Panel Compartment Replacement (Right Hand Drive) (Service and Repair).




3. Disconnect the blower motor electrical connector.




4. Disconnect the blower motor processor electrical connector.




5. Remove the screws (1) that retain the blower motor.




6. Remove the blower motor.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the blower motor.





Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).

2. Install the blower motor screws (1).

Tighten the screws to 1.5 Nm (13 lb in).




3. Connect the blower motor processor electrical connector.




4. Connect the blower motor electrical connector.
5. Install the I/P compartment. Refer to Instrument Panel Compartment Replacement (Left Hand Drive) (Service and Repair)Instrument Panel Compartment Replacement (Right Hand Drive) (Service and Repair).
6. Install the right closeout insulator panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Right Side (Right Hand Drive) (Service and Repair)Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Right Side (Left Hand Drive) (Service and Repair).
