Front Side Door Window Belt Outer Sealing Strip Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Lower the window into the door




2. Remove the plastic retainers (1) from the sealing strip at the front and rear of the door.
3. Lift the sealing strip (2) from the rear of the door.
4. Remove the sealing strip (2).

Installation Procedure

1. Place the sealing strip (2) on the lip of the door. Guide the seal end mating surfaces together, and seat the strip.




2. Align the sealing strip retainers (1) to the slots in the door.
3. Push the retainers (1) into the slots.
4. Verify the operation of the seal against the window.
