Vehicle Yaw Sensor with Vehicle Lateral Accelerometer Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Turn the ignition switch OFF.

2. Remove the front floor console. Refer to Front Floor Console Replacement (Right Hand Drive) Front Floor Console Replacement (Right Hand Drive)Front Floor Console Replacement (Left Hand Drive) Front Floor Console Replacement (Left Hand Drive).

3. Disconnect the vehicle yaw sensor with vehicle lateral accelerometer electrical connector.





4. Remove the vehicle yaw sensor with vehicle lateral accelerometer nuts (1).





5. Remove the vehicle yaw sensor with vehicle lateral accelerometer (1).

Installation Procedure





1. Install the vehicle yaw sensor with vehicle lateral accelerometer (1).





Caution:
Refer to Fastener Caution Fastener Caution.

2. Install the vehicle yaw sensor with vehicle lateral accelerometer nuts (1) and tighten to 9 Nm (80 lb in).

3. Connect the vehicle yaw sensor with vehicle lateral accelerometer electrical connector.

4. Install the front floor console. Refer to Front Floor Console Replacement (Right Hand Drive) Front Floor Console Replacement (Right Hand Drive)Front Floor Console Replacement (Left Hand Drive) Front Floor Console Replacement (Left Hand Drive).

5. Install a scan tool to the vehicle.

6. Using the special functions menu on the scan tool, reset the vehicle yaw sensor with vehicle lateral accelerometer.

7. Perform the Diagnostic System Check - Vehicle Diagnostic System Check - Vehicle.
