PCV Valve Replacement

REMOVAL
1. Start and operate engine at idle.
2. Place thumb over end of valve to check for vacuum. If there is no vacuum at valve, check for plugged hoses or valve.
3. Replace plugged or damaged hoses, as required.
4. Switch engine "OFF" and remove PCV valve. Shake valve--needle inside valve should rattle.
- If no rattle is heard replace PCV valve.

INSTALLATION
1. Install new PCV valve and grommet onto intake manifold or rocker arm shaft cover.
2. Connect hoses and adjust engine idle--if necessary.
