Valve Body Replace

1. Drain transmission fluid, then remove oil pan and screen.

2. Remove T.V./Detent cable retaining bolt and disconnect cable.

3. Remove throttle lever and bracket assembly. Use care to avoid bending throttle lever link.

4. Remove detent roller and spring assembly.

5. Support valve body and remove retaining bolts, then while holding manual valve, remove valve assembly, spacer plate and gaskets as an assembly to prevent dropping the five check balls. After removing valve body assembly, the intermediate band anchor pin, and reverse cup plug may be removed.

6. To install control valve reverse removal procedure and torque all valve body bolts to 8 ft lbs. Ensure intermediate band anchor in is located on intermediate band prior to installation of valve body, to prevent damage.
