Fuel Pump: Service and Repair
Replacement 1.
Disconnect battery ground cable.
2.
Remove fuel filler door and bezel assembly.
3.
Remove fuel tank filler neck seal and drain hose.
4.
Remove screws attaching fuel meter/
fuel pump to tank.
5.
Disconnect fuel lines, fuel vapor line and electrical connector.
6.
Remove fuel meter/
fuel pump and gasket.
7.
Replace
fuel pump.
8.
Install replacement unit in reverse order.
