The washer System response time on permanent magnet type wipers used on 1984 Celebritys and Monte Carlos may be reduced by installing a check valve, P/N 25504746, in the fluid pick-up hose. To install the check valve, cut the pick-up hose off 2" from the washer pump and insert the valve. Be sure to observe the direction of flow through the valve. The valve will prevent fluid drain back and reduce the washer response time.
