Manual Shift Linkage Adjust






1. Place shifter assembly (A) in Neutral position, see image.

2. With link (B) loosely assembled to rod (F) and rod (F) attached to lever (0), place lever (G) in Neutral position. To obtain Neutral position, move lever (G) clockwise to maximum detent position (Park), then counterclockwise two detents to Neutral position.

3. While holding lever (G) in Neutral position, adjust link (B) until hole aligns with shifter assembly pin (C), then install link onto pin.

4. Install shim (D) and retainer (E). The above procedure must be followed exactly, since any inaccuracies may result in premature failure of the transmission due to operation without controls in full detent.
