Fig. 3 Exploded view of Nippondenso 10 cylinder compressor:

1. Remove clutch assembly.
2. Remove felt from boss of front housing, Fig. 3.
3. Using suitable tool, remove snap ring from boss of front housing.
4. Using suitable hammer and punch, drive key from shaft.
5. Apply refrigerant oil to inner bore of compressor.
6. Insert SST No. 07112-15010 or equivalent against shaft, then push holder ring downward.
7. Push up bar of remover and remove shaft plate.
8. Insert SST No. 07114-15010 or equivalent against shaft and turn it to right while pressing remover, then remove shaft seal.
9. Remove service valve retaining bolts and remove service valves, then remove O-rings from service valves and discard them.
10. Drain compressor oil into container.
11. Remove six through bolts and discard washers.
12. Using suitable hammer and punch, remove front housing by tapping on pry lugs provided, being careful not to scratch mounting surfaces.
13. Remove two pins from front housing and discard them, then remove front valve plate.
14. Using suitable hammer and punch, remove rear housing by tapping on pry lugs provided, being careful not to scratch mounting surfaces.
15. Remove front and rear O-rings from cylinder block and discard them.
