Brake Master Cylinder: Service and Repair

1. Clean area around reservoir and brake lines at master cylinder.
2. Remove brake fluid from master cylinder.
3. Disconnect and cap the 4 brake lines from master cylinder.
4. Disconnect brake level warning switch electrical connector.
5. Remove 2 master cylinder attaching nuts and the master cylinder.
6. Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
a. Adjust power brake unit pushrod length prior to installing master cylinder. Refer to ``Power Brake Unit, Replace.''
