Identifying System Types

NOTE: There are two types of master cylinder assemblies for this vehicle. The Powermaster Assembly and the Conventional Master Cylinder Assembly.

Powermaster Assembly
This Powermaster unit is a complete, integral power brake apply system. It consists of an electro-hydraulic brake booster and an integral dual master cylinder.

Conventional M/C Assembly
This system uses a standard dual piston master cylinder that is used with a vacuum assisted power brake booster.
