Cruise Control Servo Cable: Adjustments

1985 Models w/4-119 Engine & All 1986-87 Models
Ensure throttle is completely closed, ignition and fast idle cam, if equipped, off. With cable properly secured and connected at throttle lever end, install cable in bracket at servo. Pull on cable just enough to remove slack, then connect cable to hole in servo actuator that will provide approximately .15 inch slack in cable. Do not stretch cable to make connection at servo, as engine will not return to idle.
