Ignition Switch

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove lower instrument panel trim, then unfasten and carefully lower steering column to gain access to ignition switch. Support steering column to prevent damage.
3. Place ignition switch in ``Lock'' position. If lock cylinder has been removed, pull switch actuator rod up to stop, then move down one detent to the ``Lock'' position.
4. Remove ignition switch attaching screws and the switch.
5. Reverse procedure to install. Place ignition switch in ``Lock'' position prior to installation.
