Receiver Dryer: Service and Repair
NOVA
1.
Disconnect battery ground cable and discharge
refrigerant.
2.
Disconnect inlet and outlet lines, then plug lines and open fittings.
3.
Remove receiver from mounting bracket.
4.
Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
a.
Torque refrigerant line fittings to 10 ft. lbs.
b.
If receiver is being replaced, add .7 oz of refrigeration oil to system prior to charging.
